Titled "Back Yard Path". A small relative to a larger, 48" x 36" painting of the same area titled "At the Edge of the Woods" (in my shop if it hasn't sold yet). One of the photos shows them together. Painted en plein air in 2018 on a wood panel, 12" high by 16" wide. It's framed with a thin wood strip (picture to follow), wired, and ready to hang. Please look at the images carefully. This is painted very loosely in a painterly manner with texture from the brushstrokes.
About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. (Steve and Anne's daughter, Tess Remick, is on Chairish too.) Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad.
