Ballroom setting ladies gossiping shows the progress of the plates with use of embroidery on silk. These are all with original wood frames. Interestingly, these are signed by 12 year old Mary Ann Pappas from France in war time 1944, when residents put their name on their belongings for fear of losing everything to the Germans. See less
