Twelve years ago, she decided to chase her dreams and devote herself entirely to designing furniture. For Geke Lensink, furniture is not merely a collection of objects, but also a carrier of stories. The designer translates her own memories of travels and cultures into her autonomous work and all objects are a fusion of thoughts and ideas. Her recent designs is about our world in which segregation slowly merges and the diversity of the global Community becomes more visible, but it is also about acceptance and arrogance. The reflections on these subjects are made tangible in Minimalist designs with bright colors, creating a balance between functionality and beauty.
