Seat measures 22” wide, 17” deep and 17.5” height … Read more Circa 1790s, a pair of solid mahogany English Chippendale side chairs. Seat measures 22” wide, 17” deep and 17.5” height from the floor. The serpentine back is 38” from the ground to top of back. Beautifully carved interlacing pierced splats with foliage design. Molded double chamfered straight legs. Sturdy chairs are rich in history but do need new upholstery and new wood finish as well as one chair back in need of restoration to back splats as there is some cracking in the wood. See less
