Maurice Seymour was a Russian immigrant who came to the United States in the 1920’s and opened a studio soon after. He was known as the “photographer to the celebrities” of his time. All kinds of entertainers came before Seymour’s lens. However, if he is best-known for any one area of photography, it is for his ballet pictures.
