This hand knotted wool vintage Persian Kerman rug features a sixteen point cusped medallion flanked by a ring of sixteen pointed ovals surrounded by an all-over floral pattern composed of blooming palmettes, serrated leaves, stylized flowers and arabesque vines. Chandelier lamps hang at each end of the medallion and complementary spandrels echo the medallion design. Subdued bursts of color depict the charismatic florals throughout and contrast enigmatically with light sky blue colored field. The Persian Kerman rug is framed by a classic cartouche border and flanked with an outer guard border and an inner double guard band.
