An antique Chippendale style chest of drawers, likely originating in England, in the 19th Century. Oyster veneer of Laburnum wood. Parquetry design to top with oyster bullnose edge, brass hardware, banded drawer fronts, and bracket feet. Features two short over three long dovetailed drawers with escutcheon covered locks (no key).
Measures: 37.25w 20d 39.25h
Very good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and normal previous use. Some light veneer cracks. All drawers function properly. Locks untested, no key present. Lock not present in bottom drawer. Structurally sound and sturdy.
