This original oil portrait features a young Asian girl in a field seated beside a bag of grain that she has been separating from the surrounding grasses. The subject is gazing directly at the viewer, rosy-cheeked. Behind her are fields and mountains in the distance. Framed in a wide wooden frame with gold accents and a linen liner. Signed and dated by the artist in the lower left corner, Doris Hampton Stewart, 4/20/82.
