An antique Japanese, late Meiji Era, enamel over brass vase. Circa: 19th century. The amphora shaped vase is enameled with a polychrome image of a dragon made in the Cloisonne technique on brown ground. The base and the neck of the ware are adorned with geometrical and scrollwork motifs made in the same technique. The ground is inlaid with Goldstone. Unmarked.
