It’s from the late 1800s and a piece of Arts & Crafts Folk Art. The piece is almost all Cedar which will protect your textile items stored inside. It has hand-carved maple side handles and wheel with wheels. The wheels are not original. They replaced the original wooden casters that had broken over the ages. It has a slight waterfall top with two wide brass bands and nail head accents that come over the top and down the front. It has a keyhole but no working lock. There are several cedar planks inside that you sand to refresh the cedar smell that protects your textiles.
