Claude Montana Paris designed this spectacular around-the-neck necklace for Claire Deve in the 1980s. The massive torque shape features a brutalist futuristic design built with gilded metal-coated resin. The piece is ornate on the front with a carved resin cabochon in a matte navy blue color with a raw surface finish. The choker is not signed, but this model is well known as being part of the iconic creations of this incredibly inventive French designer.
Pristine condition, probably never worn.
Measurements: The necklace's inner circumference is 14.57 in long (37 cm) - the opening of the neck-band is 2.94 in wide (7.5 cm) - The largest width on the front is 2.13 in wide (5.4 cm). This necklace will best fit a Medium size neck with a maximum of 13.38 in circumference (34 cm).
