A scarce early American painted pine barbershop back bar. circa 1840
Born in the United States in the first half of the 19th century, this remarkable rare antique barber station features primitive hand-crafted solid wood construction, retaining the original paint finish with beautifully aged warm rustic patina, having a narrow rectangular top, over two support columns fitted with a single drawer over shelved cabinet affixed with original forged iron hardware, flanking an open knee hole, with sturdy plank boarded back.
