Finely detailed vintage Art Deco era amethyst intaglio pendant crafted in 14k yellow gold (circa 1920s to 1930s).
Carved amethyst intaglio measures 26mm x 21mm. The amethyst is in very good condition and free of cracks or crisps.
The distinct and beautifully detailed pendant is set with a carved amethyst intaglio depicting an ancient profile. Set within a blue enamelled pendant it makes a great statement. Wearable as a pendant and also a brooch.
The pendant is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
