Major British figure in mid-century sculpture, working in clay. This is an early work from a long and notable career in the visual arts. Mary Frank's terra cotta entitled Pablo, dated 1970-71. Includes the original show catalog and listing. Size: 18.5" tall; the body is 19" by 14" overall. Cryptic Frank signature on the shoulder. The whole is covered in symbolist imagery of nudes, birds, and seal prints. Stoneware clay. The size is 21" wide, 17" deep overall, 18.5" tall. Very good condition. See less
