Wonderful mid century majolica ceramic lidded dish topiary. It's made in the Italian majolica technique with colorful fruits atop a pedestal base tree trunk with sleeping chick and lamb figures beneath. It's glazed in shades of purple, yellow, and green. The fruit top is a removable lid opening to a serving bowl. There is no label or makers mark. There is crazing throughout original to the piece which is not damage from use or age. A great piece for decoration or serving guests.
Overall dimensions are 10" diameter x 13" high to top of topiary.
Serving bowl interior is 8-1/2" diameter x 2-3/4" deep.
