This unusual antique mirror was crafted in the Alps region of France, circa 1880. The whimsical mirror features a large eagle sculpture with wings and tail wrapped around a half moon mirror with beveled mercury glass. The bird features exquisite and detailed carvings on the wings, plumage and claw feet. The Black Forest mirror is in excellent condition and flaunts a rich walnut patina throughout the frame.
