A minimalist contemporary abstract watercolor collage on paper titled “No. 1231” by Swiss artist Jean Weinbaum. Hand signed bottom right. Created in 1981. Original gallery tag from Alice Simsar Gallery, Ann Arbor, MI on verso. The artist creates vibrant watercolors on paper then tears the paintings to create larger collage paintings. Light is infused by adding paint to the edges to enhance the geometric shapes. The abstracted forms begin to glow to create a radiant effect when viewing the art. Jean Weinbaum artwork can be found in various private and public collections including Smithsonian American Art Museum. From a private collection. Dimensions: 34.5”h x 29.75”w x 1.25”d (framed). In very good vintage condition.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
