Abstracted portrait of a renaissance era woman by Sonia Gichner (20th Century). This piece is painted with splashes of bright colors, contrasting nicely with skin tones and black lines. Textured medium has been added to the paint, creating depth in isolated areas. The woman is looking to the right side of the composition, and appears to be wearing a corset and some kind of head covering.
