Incredible early 1900s Irish Wardrobe with crested top, fabulous birds-eye maple door inserts (very heavy), double mirrored doors, and large drawer along base.
This substantial and regal piece was removed from Straffan House, outside of Dublin Ireland, the former manor home of the Barton & Guestier vintner family for generations.
Superbly constructed and intricately carved, this needs a large room to call home - dimensions are 53W x 21D x 100H inches!
Can be disassembled for transport, easily put back together but will require two people to complete. No key present for original lock system.
Original manufacturer unknown - likely bespoke made for the manor house, hence the ability to disassemble. Mix of oak and walnut construction, french style veneers to the sides.
Quality one of a kind piece.
