​Weathered finesse meets Belgian chic in this antique Persian Mashhad rug. The faded floral design and colors woven into this piece work together creating a rustic yet refined look. An open botanical medallion ​radiate from the center. Prominent ogival arch contours​ and opulent swags of blossoming flower garlands transcend from the antique-washed field. Nuanced corner spandrels richly patterned with a bounty of florals and foliage extend along the sides creating an inner frame. A classic cartouche border elegantly encompasses the composition. Pulling colors together from throughout, the floral and undulating cloudband guard border add the perfect accompaniment​. Imbued with rustic sensibility and muted earth-tone colors, this distressed Persian area rug imparts a sense of warmth and relaxed refinement.

Rendered in variegated shades of tan, muted blue, soft brick red, brown, taupe, glaucous, gray, rose, terra cotta, coffee, charcoal and green with other muted colors.
