We are selling this primitive carved pine wall holder for a mortar and pestle. This piece doesn't show any signs of having old paint but has a nice design with double eagle decoration. Nails are round headed so we believe it is more likely 19th century than the 1780 date written in pencil on the back.
Condition: Age splits to the eagle heads, one with a nailed repair.
