This wonderful miniature figurine is made out of bone china. This lovely piece is stamped as being made by Royal Doulton in England, see pictures, and it was made for the Charles Dickens Miniatures Collection, which would date this piece to 1922-1983. This figurine is a depiction of the character Sergeant Buzfuz from Charles Dickens's novel The Pickwick Papers. Buzfuz is depicted here wearing a black coat, white tie, red, vest, and black pants and shoes.
The Measurements: height=4" width=2" depth=1 1/2" approx.
