Brutalist Studio Pottery Vessel ca. 1970
This is an unsigned vessel, no markings. Oval with a concave design, this piece has traditional brutalist markings giving it a primitive, yet modernist look. Finished in a blue earthen gloss glaze which gives it a worn appearance on the edges of circles and squares of the raised design elements, this piece would be an excellent acquisition for a Minimalist or Mid-Century home.
