The sitter of the portrait is identified as Abigail Ann Peck, who we believe may be Abigail Peck Baldwin of Milford born 1829-1891, who was married to Nehemiah Thomas Clark. The painting is well done in a very folk style with the girl posed outside of the house with a bowl of what appear to be blackberries with a cute little cat seated next to her.

Condition: Canvas appears to be in rough condition with some tears and damages and creases. Label on the back says canvas is in really fragile condition.
