We are selling this great early 19th century Folk Art Portrait. The sitter of the portrait is identified as Abigail Ann Peck, who we believe may be Abigail Peck Baldwin of Milford born 1829-1891, who was married to Nehemiah Thomas Clark. The painting is well done in a very folk style with the girl posed outside of the house with a bowl of what appear to be blackberries with a cute little cat seated next to her.
Condition: Canvas appears to be in rough condition with some tears and damages and creases. Label on the back says canvas is in really fragile condition.
