Dog lovers will appreciate this realistic vintage hound dog. Crafted in Italy, circa 2000, this charming terracotta statue is life-size, and depicts a sitting basset hound resting on a checker pillow. Boasting lovely russet, brown and white colors that accentuate his coat and eyes, this canine melts our hearts with its melancholic expression. The detailed features include his tail curled around his side, large front paws, very realistically done eyes, and sweet wrinkles around his ankles, face, and ears.
