Created and finished by hand, the jars are an artistic and decorative interpretation that were modeled after a pair from the late Q’ing Dynasty era. Standing 18” in height, the jars are in beautiful condition with no cracks, chips, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Dating to the mid-20th century, wear is commensurate for age and history of use. Exquisitely colored in vivid shades of yellow, chartreuse, and soft pink, a host of Foo Dogs frolic and play on a pale blue ground that’s intertwined with bright florals and vines.
