This tubular high-back chair is very similar to marcel breuer’s s35 chair. The bauhaus chair has been reupholstered with brown micro leather (top layer), canvas and cold foam. The frame is structurally still very good, but has patina and traces of age due to age and use (see photos). Due to the special construction of the tubular frame, the springing of the chair provides comfort. Dimensions: h x w x d = 93 x 58 x 93 cm. The seat height is 33 cm and the height of the armrests is 56 cm. Material: chromed metal, micro leather, canvas and wood. Veha was the brand name for tubular furniture of the metal company j.b. Van heijst en zonen (1870 – 1967). In the early 1930s they made tubular furniture briefly (a few years).
