This Really is an Great Looking Large Size Antique Rockingham - Yellowware Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Late 19th Century. It is Rendered - Decorated in the Classic Rockingham Brown Spongeware Style. These Types of Mixing Bowls were used for Batters - Bread Dough - Cakes - Cookies - Etc. It is Thick - Substantially Constructed Weighing Over 5 1/4 Pounds - Was Durably Made to be Used Daily. It has No Maker or Other Markings but but it is Most Likely Bennington. It is in Very Good - Strong - Sound - Usable Condition. No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs. It Displays Beautifully. It has Some Light Glaze ( Gloss ) Surface - Wood Spoon Mixing Wear in The Basin from Many Years of Use. NOTE That the White Surface Spots in Some of My Pictures are Reflections From My Photography Lighting.
It Measures Overall Approx. 6 inches Tall x 12 1/2 inches Wide - Long at Top Rim.
