It's minimalist design approach can be described as space age post modern with two saucer like black metal and green hued glass (flying) saucer like fixtures. The twin light fixtures emanate light through spotlight style clear glass cutouts at the bottom of each bowl as well as through the glass disks that are made of layered and fused green glass. This fixture is unique adn bares no makers mark or signature however it is certainly inspired by the style of other fixtures associated with the remarkable Italian house of Fontana Arte. This 1990s lighting fixture is a natural to be positioned above a kitchen Island or dining or conference table. The lighting is dimmable which is super useful depending on whether ambient level or fully illuminated level is desired. See less
