Likely European in origin. The colors in the picture are very vibrant and great for their age; the photographs of this piece do not do it justice! Some faint tanning, foxing, and light spots through out the paper, but nothing to detract from its overall charm. The giltwood frame likely dates from the 1920s and includes the original old wavy glass. Faint shadow markings of an earlier mat are visible only on close inspection. See less
