The embroidery is extremely finely worked in coloured silk threads on a paper or felt ground. Colours blues, greens, creams and browns. Pictorial scene depicts a lady, recumbent on a grassy ground, surrounded by flowers. In the background is a house, trees and a cloudy sky. Gold foil border around the outside. Framed in an old wooden frame with rippled old glass. The picture is executed and mounted in a manner whereby it can be displayed either way around.. Dimensions exclude the frame and slip. See less
