Applied rope to the lids and bases. Light apricot ground is very smart. Used originally for flower arrangement. For similar examples see Robin Reilly's "Wedgwood The New Illustrated Dictionary" page 74. Impress mark to the base. Measure 10 1/4" across over handles x 7" x 7 1/2" tall. Good condition. Similar example found in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. See less
