Vintage Brass Sconces by Sv. Mejlstrøm for Mejlstrøm Belysning, 1960s. Set of 2.
Brass wall lamp with hand blown shade in smoked glass designed by Svend Mejlstrøm for Mejlstrøm Belysning. Svend Mejlstrøm is from the same school and period as Hans-Agne Jakobsson and their designs has many similarities.
These wall lights emits a warm soft light due to the smoked/amber colored glass. Arm is mounted on a brass backing with a small switch. Very elegant and Classic vintage scandinavian Mid-Century Modern lighting.
E14 sockets. Makers mark.
Very good condition. Rewired. No chips in glass, brass has a warm sheen. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
