Offering an amazing EXTRA-LARGE hand painted Chinese porcelain temple jar or ginger jar. Please see dimensions below as this is a very large and heavy temple jar. It is signed on the bottom with a red Chinese symbol. This symbol was used in the Qing Dynasty, which lasted until 1912. Sometimes these symbols were used again during the Mid 20th Century....either way this is a magnificently painted Temple Jar.
The jar is hand painted with gorgeous large phoenixes, flying birds, ducks, pink and red lotus flowers and Lily pads. The glaze is extremely heavy and textural which is common with "Famille Rose" glaze techniques. There is a traditional Chinese "Lappet" border at the bottom in pink, yellow and turquoise with repeating patterns. There is a turquoise and pink "Ruji Head" border at the top of the jar. The lid is covered in white blossoms with a pink and green geometric border.
EXCELLENT CONDITION....NO FLAWS...JUST PERFECT!
A great large jar that is perfect for a mantel or mantlepiece, especially because its grand size. Can also be placed on a large coffee table, side table, console or credenza. Will fit in nicely with a Palm Beach Chic Decor or trending Boho Chic Decor that loves to incorporate unique and eclectic Chinese and Chinoiserie accessory items into its interior design motifs.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
