Very nicely crafted writing desk designed by Erik Brouer and manufactured by Brouer Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960. Often attributed to Arne Vodder. It’s made of teak wood and has a very nice grain to the wood. The top appears to float optically. This symmetric desk has 6 drawers and also 3 storage spaces at the back, complete with 2 original keys. Fantastic typical Danish quality desk. The desk is in very good condition. One dark spot on the top of the desk, otherwise in beautiful condition. Including the 2 original keys. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
