20th Century Deruta Armorial Pottery Jug Depicting Female Portrait And Dragon Heads, Italian Terracotta Cruche (Boccale) Pitcher by ceramics artist, Giuseppe Cassetta.
This beautiful Italian renaissance Antico Deruta style pitcher measures 12.75” tall to top of handle by 9” wide from end of handle.
Vintage condition with large chip on rim of base and cracks on handle. Handle has been repaired. Surface wear with chips (see all photos). It is a stunning work of art with vibrant colors of blue, orange and yellow on off-white bisque color. Signed on underside by artist.
