There are moments when movement becomes visible.
"Wings of Light" explores the invisible energy that surrounds us through intersecting geometric forms, layered brushwork, and luminous color. The composition evokes a sense of flight, expansion, and continuous motion, inviting the viewer to discover new pathways and perspectives each time they experience the painting.
Rather than representing a specific object or place, this work expresses the feeling of movement itself. Some viewers see soaring wings, others discover architectural forms, crystalline structures, or futuristic landscapes. I intentionally leave room for personal interpretation, allowing every collector to develop their own relationship with the painting.
My creative process is intuitive rather than predetermined. I rarely know exactly where a painting will lead when I begin. Instead, I allow each brushstroke to respond naturally to the previous one until the composition reaches its own balance and rhythm. I often feel less like someone directing the painting and more like someone listening carefully to where it wishes to go.
This original work was painted in professional oil colors on premium European linen, which I personally stretched over hand-built stretcher bars before beginning the painting. Every aspect of its creation was completed entirely by hand in my studio.
The painting has been exhibited over the years and carefully transported between several exhibition venues while remaining in excellent original condition.
One of the most remarkable characteristics of this painting is its changing relationship with light. Natural daylight, evening light, and carefully placed accent lighting continually reveal new color harmonies, depth, and movement. Although every effort has been made to photograph the work accurately, the original possesses far greater richness, luminosity, and complexity than photographs can capture.
The handcrafted exhibition frame was created specifically for display purposes. While it presents the painting beautifully, collectors may wish to choose a custom frame that complements their own interior. The painting is equally striking displayed with a minimalist presentation that allows its expressive geometry and vibrant movement to take center stage.
