Etablisseme Jean Gauthier, EJG. was a glass and porcelain decorator whose first establishment was located at 12 and 14 rue Jean Robert in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. He subsequently opened a factory in Ezanville to the north of the capital and then after 1930, used the name Ezan for his creations.
He mainly produced moulded pressed art glass and also manufactured laminated, patterned and opaque flat panels for use in windows and interior design installations: screens around booths in bars, restaurants and lounges, or interior sash windows in adjoining walls that required temporary privacy.
Jean Gauthier was well known for making table lamps, ceiling lights and chandeliers.
Rewired for American use with four candelabra sockets that can house either LED's or
incandescent bulbs.
