Superb william iv hall bench in mahogany, having panelled gallery to the back edge with s shaped scroll carving to the centre, solid mahogany seat with moulded edge and finely carved ends above shaped front and side frieze, all standing on flat faceted tapering legs. This antique hall seat came to us from a private individual, it has been sympathetically restored in last few years, including strengthening to the underside and some carving repairs. The seat has been very well looked after over the years and it is in home ready condition. A true statement piece. C1830
