Provenance / Acquisition:
From the estate of Dr. Penelope Campbell (Maryland/ Georgia, 1935-2023), former professor at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. Estate proceeds funded a scholarship at Agnes Scott College.

Acquired from the highly reputable auction house, Austin Auction Gallery, est.1983, Austin, Texas.

Condition:
Overall a superb museum quality example, in great original unrestored antique condition with beautifully aged weathered patina. Warm rustic heavily patinated finish with remnants of original paint pigments remaining. Structurally sound. Presents splendidly.
