4 lipmoulded drawers, with original brass bail hardware. Nicely shaped thumb moulded applied top. Lamb’s tongue carved and fluted columns. With nicely cyma curved Ogee bracket feet. Between the front feet is a applied gadroon carved moulding. Pine and poplar secondary woods.

The gadroon carved feature, is a very distinctive characteristic trait of Eastern, CT or Norwich, CT furniture of the later half of the 18th century.

Condition: Original as-found condition. A stunning state of preservation, the feet and surface are original. Minor repairs to the drawer lips from use and wear over the years. Typical use and wear related dings and scuffs.

Retains the original brasses.
