The antique coffer has an interior which has been lined with metal and would make a fantastic storage or blanket chest, as well as to display as an unexpected coffee table. Ebonized, solid wood construction features hand forged iron hardware that has been scrolled and stylized to bring a decorative flourish to the otherwise utilitarian antique. Twisted iron bail handles on the lid and sides provide grips to lift or move the (heavy) trunk. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
