The interior features abstract decorative painting, on a pinkish ground, the exterior isn in a flat white finish. Marked "Sarena" in the interior, and "Calif. USA LU 114" on verso, as shown. Because of its construction, and obvious stylistic similarity to the more well known artist Sascha Brastoff, we believe this piece was probably made in the workshop of SB, however we cannot document that. Either way, this is quintessential, and exceptional example of Mid Century California pottery from the Golden Age of MCM Cali. design. See less
