Iconic design of Aubusson from the late 1700 hundreds , this model became famous and a must all over Europe … Read more Iconic design of Aubusson from the late 1700 hundreds , this model became famous and a must all over Europe , scene galante or pastoral designed by very famous painters of the time like Fragonard or Boucher , you will find a very elegant baroque decor with a frame and bow surrounded by guirlandes of flowers ,the main scene is unusual and charming two young boys playing kite , vibrate colors , all very well balance and very sophisticated , this model is so famous you will find one in the Museum of Tapestry in Aubusson. We have a pendant of that piece that we listed separately , rare opportunity to have a matching pair , it was a left and a right in a room of the castel , surrounding color is slightly different due to aging it s why we list separate but would be fantastic to use as a set , as they are very close , size is very convenient 97" H on 71" W can feet many rooms , it as a backing and velcro , was professionally clean and restored.
