Known as "The Sled That Skis", the sled can be steered with handlebars that control two front pivoting skis. There is also a hand brake on either side of the sled.

Withington was based in West Minot, ME and was known for making a variety of winter sporting goods, which they did from the 1940's through the 1960's (when the factory burned down). Capitalizing on the European ski craze that followed WWII, Withington marketed their products as "Swiss Inspired" or "Bavarian". The "Bob-O-Link" sled was named after a bird known for migrating great distances.

This sled would be a great addition to any ski memorabilia collection, or as decor in a cabin or ski lodge. Or it can simply be used as originally intended -- this sled was built to last, so I'm sure she's got many more downhill runs in her!
