Chinese porcelain ancient inscription bitong, a large brush pot with a white glazed body, interior and inset base. Su Dongpo's, "The Latter Red Cliff Record Rhapsody", in finely written, blue, kaishu script, is glazed to the exterior of the brushpot, along with a red, artemisia leaf, seal mark and a red, Xi Chao Chuan Gu, seal mark in Zhuanshu script within a square. A blue, four character, Wen Zhang Shan Dou, Kangxi, dedication mark is glazed to the inset base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa late 19th century, no later than early 20th.
