This large French 19th-century baroque serpentine cast iron balcony c 1860 was repurposed to create a spectacular wall-mounted console table.
The console table has a beautiful fitted scalloped bowed front green veined marble top with a beveled edge and honed finish.
The original antique cast iron base has the most wonderful vivid cast acanthus leaf corners and has many intricate details: a center cross leaf medallion flanked by laurel garland with tassels on each side along with scroll leaf, flower, and fleur de lis motif ornamentations.
The 19th-century balcony console table architectural frame base was recently refinished with a matt black paint finish, and the center cross medallion and side tassels were enhanced by a touch of gold gilding.

There is a pair of these available, I have listed them separately under my shop with Chairish. The antique cast iron balcony console table came out of an estate in Hope Ranch Santa Barbara, CA. There is a pair that was acquired some time ago from an antique dealer in Los Angeles. Originally, the pair of architectural balconies or balustrades were removed from a 19th-century chateau and converted into wall consoles. Circa of both balconies is 1860.
Both of the antique balconies are identical, they have matching baroque serpentine antique cast iron balcony bases with added exquisite matching green honed finish marble tops.
The Console tables are truly a one of kind pair that are rarely available.
