Purvis Young.
One of America's finest and most accomplished self-taught African-American artists. Exhibited throughout the world, Mr. Young's body of work is exceptional. It has been a pleasure to own and exhibit this piece in my home.
I bought this piece shortly after the death of George Floyd. It reminds me of a group of protestors protesting outside of a prison.
