The gently curved shakers have a tapered body which fans out to form the crown. The screw tops are pierced for salt and pepper to be easily dispensed and there are glass liners to keep things neat. There is a lovely rose finial on the top of each shaker. Hallmarks are: Sterling, Weighted. Measurements for these fabulous creations are: Height from top to bottom=5 inches, Diameter at widest=1-3/4 inches. This marvelous pair of sterling silver salt and pepper shakers have been well cared for, gently used and are in good vintage condition. The bodies of the shakers have light scratching, commensurate with age and use. The bottom rim of the pedestal, as well as the rim at the widest point have a number of dents and dings, commensurate with age and wear, but they do not diminish the beauty of these lovely shakers. They are the perfect addition to your dining service, particularly if you like the vintage style. See less
