Beautiful condition, … Read more Lovely vintage Ming style Indonesian dining armed chairs comprised of natural teak frames & upholstered drop in seats. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The seats have been newly upholstered in a black canvas. One chair was broken where the upper rail meets the back side support and has been repaired. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Now THIS is spectacular seating!!! This set of four armchairs are made in Indonesia from natural teak and they are just waiting for you to add the perfect-to-you-fabric on their drop-in seats. That is if you don’t like the new black canvas we have just covered them in! They are sinuously carved and sanded and feel absolutely marvelous when you run your hand over their curves and carvings. The five spokes of the back splat have a center round medallion with a carving of leaves and floral motif. The arms curl back at the front like a vine and end with the carving of a delicate leaf and a gorgeous stretcher is formed over all four legs surrounding the entire chair under the seat. They bear a fabulous Ming style and are simply beautiful. If you have a small dining area or breakfast nook in your kitchen, these would be perfect. They will also be wonderful in your bedroom, at a game table in the family room, or used as extra seating in your living room. They’re kind of an “anywhere chair!” We adore them and surely you do too! What are you waiting for? Make them YOURS!!!
